The ‘Review’ Suite of Productivity Improvement Services Comprises:

  • Work Study Snapshots
    Unearthing the productivity opportunities that exist in a business. Measuring at a high-level where time is spent within customers’ sites, what percentage is spent on non-valued-added activities and where quick cost savings can be made or where time can be re-distributed to improve productivity.
  • Work Measurement
    Taking a work study snapshot to the next level; focusing on a larger sample size to validate the results of a snapshot in order to fully justify any post-study operational initiatives.
  • Productivity Reviews
    Helping customers to understand the percentage of employee time spent on sales-increasing/value-adding activities and then making recommendations and guiding the implementation of tactical and strategic improvements.
  • AS IS & TO BE Productivity Reviews
    Helping to guide customers smoothly through any form of business change - for example new IT systems and processes - with operational risks mitigated and strategic objectives achieved. Initially SWL will measure productivity in the ‘as is’ environment before making recommendations for operational improvement that support and complement the migration path of the business change, fostering operational compliance throughout the change process. SWL will then review the ‘to be’ environment to gauge whether the objectives have been realised and understand where customers can further exploit their change programmes.
  • Process Analysis (incl. video evidence) and Improvement
    Linking in-store process reviews with SWL’s leading-edge technology to help businesses successfully implement change programmes that define or refine best practices.
  • New Technology Feasibility Studies
    Measuring efficiency and effectiveness levels associated with technology initiatives, delivering a closer fit with business goals, less risks and a better return.
  • Customer Engagement Reviews
    Whilst increased sales figures and/or reduced operational costs will indicate the financial successes achieved through SWL’s projects, we will also check a client’s customers’ emotional responses to their change programmes which will provide a much clearer picture of further opportunities and for how much longer they are likely to remain loyal.
  • Peak Season Reviews, Gap Analysis and Planning
    Identifying workloads that satisfy the increased demand associated with peak trading periods in order to fully exploit customers’ greatest selling opportunities.
